School 10AM - 2PM HideAway in History: This month will be the last class at Brown's Church. We will have the Son's of the American Revolution coming to visit Tues Dec 9 12:30 181 McClearry Rd JacksonTopic: Son's of the American Rev. Presentation for K-8 Free Forest School Announcements: FFS is an all season program. However, we do cancel if serious adverse weather conditions are present such as ice, hail, freezing rain, extreme cold etc. Please be sure to watch the group chat for weather related announcements. If the weather is good enough for hiking we will go out! We do often modify winter lessons. Depending on the outdoor temperature, there may not be a book/snack time. Dec 17 @ 10AM - 1:30 PM Rifa Soup Kitchen Airways BLVD RIFA Canned Good DeliveryThroughout the winter months Rifa will deliver canned goods one Monday every other month to senior citizens in need. Any family interested in volunteering for this mission can register on our sign up roster. The roster will be updated each month when Rifa schedules the drop off. 29th Annual Color of Music Art ContestI am the home school coordinator for the Jackson Symphony League Color of Music art contest. The Color of Music is an interpretive art contest open to kindergarten through eighth grade students in the West Tennessee school systems (Madison County and its surrounding counties, i.e.: Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Gibson, Hardeman, Haywood, Madison, McNairy and Weakley). Students of all skill levels are invited to participate.Listening and artwork may be done at your home.
